OUR REVIEW:
Founded in 1994, Iron Horse Security is a well known premium private security guarding agency. Iron Horse has offices in both Ottawa and Toronto and currently employs over 1800 security guards. They are also the pioneers of customer service oriented security guarding service in Canada. They have a well trained security guard force and an extremely experienced management team. The Iron Horse team are great at adapting to various situations that may arise and remain professional at all times. They are committed to quality service and are a huge contributor to local charity events in their community.
POSITIVES & NEGATIVES:
Iron Horse has a large security guard fleet of over 1800 guards. They are specialized in commercial, industrial, construction and residential security. They also offer mobile patrol and investigation services. Since Iron Horse is focused on customer service primarily they do not carry batons or handcuffs as they are trained to de-escalate situations in a professional manner that does not require the use of force or any violence.

OUR REVIEW:
Response Security founded in 1994 is a very small sized security agency with around 150 security guards. They have an office located in Ottawa. They are mainly focused on mobile patrol and event security. Response security has been in the industry for a long while but lacks the guard force to take on big projects and they have not grown much over the years because of this.
POSITIVES & NEGATIVES:
Response Security is good for mobile patrol and event security but lack the skills and experienced team to support large projects such as commercial, residential, retail, construction or industrial. Response Security is known for decent rates when it comes to event security but they lack the requirements to really take on large scale projects.

OUR REVIEW:
DSM is a fairly small and new private security company. They are fairly inexperienced team with a small guard force of less than 100 employees.
POSITIVES & NEGATIVES:
DSM Security is a very small and inexperienced team. They have not been in the industry for long and have know real web presence. The team here at Canadian Security Council would really not recommend using DSM for your security guarding services.
